THE NOVA
27.9 SECONDS |
A previous world record holder, the NOVA is a small, simple paper airplane. It has a whopping flight time of 27.9 seconds according to Guinness world records, bested by a 29.2 second record in 2010.
The plane used to fly 29.2 seconds isn't on the internet, or at least cannot be accessed easily. For now, this is the closest thing to a long-flight paper airplane that is known. It is easy to fold and doesn't require good skill, experience, or precision. The plane shown in the video lacks a tail, however, you may use a sheet of paper to create the tail any way you like, just do not make it too thin or thick. If it is made too thin, the tail will flail around and will send the plane sideways. If it is to thick, the plane will dive as it is thrown. |

THE MAYHEM
19.3 SECONDS |
The Mayhem, or more commonly known as the
Bulldog Dart, is an equivalent of the traditional dart, but instead of a sharp nose, this one has a blunt one, which is done with one extra fold. This plane is very easy to make, and with a good throw can make this plane glide for a while. The Mayhem's long wings allow it to keep afloat midst flying. It tends to be slower than the traditional Dart, but lasts much longer in the air. This shouldn't take many tries, due to it's simple instruction, good luck folding! |
